Mirage Kindergarten Drop Off/Pick Up Procedures

Parents--- we need your help! Student safety is a top priority at Mirage. We have lots of kindergarteners this year, and we want to ensure that our students get home safely. Please help us in following the procedures below:

Drop Off- *Students are brought to the big gate, north side of school, and dropped off. Gate opens at 7:45 am! *Students walk to their classrooms (doors will be open)-signs on door indicate teacher: Hreniuc-red, Dinsmore-green, Williams-pink. *Parents must stay outside gate. If you want to walk your child to their classroom, you will need to go to the office and sign in. ***Teachers are not available to talk at this time due to helping students with breakfast. Please send a note or email requesting a time to talk if needed.

Pick Up- *Classes are walked to the big gate, north side of the school, and lined up by classes. *Parents/Pick up people need to stay on the parking lot side of the gate. *Teachers will release students as they see the proper pick up person. PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO YOUR CHILD OR TAKE THEM WITHOUT LETTING THE TEACHER KNOW. ***The beginning of the year is a time for the teachers (all Kinder teachers) to get to know the people picking up their students. Please be patient as we get to know you! Our number one concern is student safety. We want all of our students to go home with the correct families!! Once again, this is not a good time to have a parent/teacher conference. If you need to talk to the teachers, please step aside and wait until the crowd has cleared, or you can schedule an appointment with the teachers.

We appreciate your help in this process. THANK YOU! Mrs. Hreniuc, Mrs. Dinsmore, Ms. Williams
