Mrs. Saylor

My name is Mrs. Saylor, and I’m so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher! It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child as we build a partnership to make this the best start to your child’s school career!

I have been teaching for 12 years, all of which as been in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. I worked at Union Park for 3 years before moving out of state to Spokane for a couple years. When we decided to move back, I knew I had to return to Deer Valley. I am very excited to be part of the Mirage team this year! It is going to be a great year for all of us!

I'm originally from Stamford, Connecticut but moved to Phoenix when I was 11. I have been with my husband for almost 14 years and we have two beautiful children, as well as two (very old) chihuahuas! I have my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from NAU and my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. 

When I’m not teaching, I love to read, bake, watch movies, and relaxing with my family. I absolutely love the snow and the cold!
