Hello, Mirage Students and Families!

My name is Alex Scaminaci, and I am the Instructional Coach at Mirage. With a decade of teaching experience, including 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th Grades, this will be my second year at Mirage. I am thrilled to start this year in my new role as an Instructional Coach, where I will be supporting all students, staff, and teachers.

I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and completed my teaching degrees in Illinois. I went to Illinois State University for my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Northern Illinois University for my Master's in Instructional Technology. My husband and I moved to Arizona from Illinois four years ago and are proud to call Arizona our home! 

I value collaboration with all students, families, teachers, and administration to ensure a successful year full of growth!
